Moore's paradox refers to the phenomena of knowing that something is true, but not believing that that something is acutally true. The commonly referred to example is "I know it is raining, but I do not think that it is". This case exemplifies Moore's paradox because the individual knows that it is raining, but does not believe it is raining.
